The suspect in a fatal shooting east of Boulder Highway Wednesday was on the loose, the Metropolitan Police Department said.
Metro responded to a call at 2:15 p.m. in the 3600 block of Indios Avenue, near Boulder Highway and Flamingo Road. They found a man suffering from a gunshot wound, Homicide Lt. Robert Price said Wednesday afternoon.
Two men, who Price said were both in their late 20s or early 30s, were arguing in the middle of the street when the victim walked away, according to Price. The suspect then shot the victim and left the scene. Price said police do not know what direction he went in.
The victim was transported to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
