Man shot in chest in Spring Valley, taken to hospital
A 47-year-old man is in custody after a shooting in the west valley Monday evening.
Police received reports about 6:45 p.m. that a man had been shot in the chest on the 4500 block of South Durango Drive, Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Steve Summers said.
The injured man was taken to the University Medical Center. His condition is unknown, Summers said.
Lt. David Gordon said a 47-year-old man was in custody before 11 p.m.
