Wounded man found wandering in southwest Las Vegas Valley
A naked man with multiple gunshot wounds was found wandering in a desert area in the southwest Las Vegas Valley Thursday night.
Officers responded just before 9:30 p.m. Thursday to reports of a naked man covered in blood standing in a roundabout near South Grand Canyon Drive and West Maule Avenue, Las Vegas police said.
The man was taken to University Medical Center when arriving officers realized he had been shot. Police said Friday morning the man was still in critical condition.
The Metropolitan Police Department’s homicide unit is investigating the shooting due to the extent of his injuries.
