Autumn arrives at Bellagio Conservatory

To welcome autumn, Bellagio’s Conservatory features a harvest tableau celebrating the sights and colors of the season through Nov. 27.

Three "fantasy" trees soar 25 feet overhead. This is the first time the trees, created by English artist Tom Hare, have been displayed in the United States.

Oversized oak, birch, maple and chestnut leaves also are featured. A stone-based greenhouse, nestled among weeping California pepper and olive trees, houses 20- to 30-year-old specimen orchids from around the world. A bed of colossal pumpkins from Half Moon Bay, Calif., ranging in size from 300 to 1,000 pounds, is another feature.

In the north garden, a walkway of moss-covered stairs is flanked by animated Venus flytraps. In the south garden, a brook is near a covered rustic bridge .

The Conservatory is adjacent to the lobby of Bellagio, 3600 Las Vegas Blvd. South.
