Dining Out: Martorano’s

DINING OUT

MARTORANO’S, PARIS LAS VEGAS, 3655 LAS VEGAS BLVD. SOUTH

The second Las Vegas location from chef Steve Martorano opened earlier this month. It’s decorated primarily in black and white to evoke his original location in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and video screens spaced throughout the dining room show famous movie scenes. The restaurant offers patio dining, too, and a large central bar that serves the usual selections and also water-ice cocktails in honor of Martorano’s Philadelphia roots.

Here’s a sample of the menu:

Antipasti: Fried calamari Martorano, $22; home-style Philly cheese steak, $19; house-made mozzarella and tomato, $18; eggplant stacked, $20; pigs’ feet and pork braciole, $14.

Pasta: Bucatini carbonara, $28; linguine in white clam sauce, $32; spaghetti pescatore, $38; bucatini with homemade meatball, $32; penne alla vodka, $28; rigatoni with Sunday gravy, $28.

Entrees: Chicken cutlet Parmigiana, $28; veal cutlet Martorano, $32; chicken Sicilian, $28; veal Marsala, $34; Prime New York strip, $60.

Hours are from 5 to 11 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays, 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Call 702-946-4656 or visit www.parislasvegas.com.
