Saget brings the blue to House of Blues

Bob Saget picked two great words for a book title that sums up his Jekyll-and-Hyde appeal: “Dirty Daddy.”

This year’s memoir, subtitled “The Chronicles of a Family Man Turned Filthy Comedian” further explains how he juggled raunchy stand-up with his TV fame as the “Full House” dad.

The book further explores the relationship between humor and pain, Saget explained a bit in 2008, when he told the Review-Journal he was one of only five siblings still alive.

As a coping mechanism, “We all laughed at sick crap. Everything sick,” he said.

Find out Saturday if Saget’s raunch level lives up to his reputation, one he hasn’t always even agreed with.

“To me it’s not hard-core,” he said of his stand-up. “I don’t go inside the fallopian tubes. Unless it’s really important, and I’m trying to save someone’s life.”
