This week’s best bets for Vegas entertainment

David Cross

Yes, he’s an honorary member of the Blue Man Group, given the troupe’s free advertising via Cross’ Blue-obsessed character Tobias in the cult comedy “Arrested Development.” But it’s blistering political humor, attacking from the left, that brings Cross and his “Making America Great Again!” stand-up tour to town at 8 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $29.95 to $125; call 888-929-7849.

Todd Rundgren

After testing fans’ patience last year with the electronica-based “Global” album, eclectic rocker Todd Rundgren promises a set of “fan favorites” with a real live rock band (including drummer Prairie Prince and Utopia bandmate Kasim Sultan) at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at The Foundry inside SLS Las Vegas. Tickets are $34.98; call 702-761-7617.

The Spinners

Keeping the Music Alive, Part 1: You don’t want classics such as “I’ll Be Around” and “Then Came You” to not be heard live. The last original member of The Spinners, baritone singer Henry Fambrough, keeps the versatile R&B group going in its seventh decade. They sing at 8 p.m. Friday at the Golden Nugget; tickets are $25.66 to $112.86. Call 866-946-5336.

The Temptations

Keeping the Music Alive, Part 2: Otis Williams is the last original member of The Temptations, but he’s been singing with some of the “new” guys, Ron Tyson and Barry Weeks, for ages now. Newer members Larry Braggs and Willie Green round out the group, which returns to The Orleans at 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $43.55 to $65.35; call 702-365-7111.
