The Las Vegas Avicultural Society — aka “The Bird Club” — held its semi-annual Bird Mart Oct. 16 at the Henderson Convention Center, 200 S. Water St. The nonprofit group, which seeks to educate people on proper domestic bird handling and care, offered vendors selling bird food, toys and clothing, along with veterinary care.
