RPEN MEETING
The Retired Public Employees of Nevada, Las Vegas Chapter will meet at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the American Legion, 733 Veterans Memorial Drive. The speaker will be Executive Director Marty Bibb. The meeting is open to the public (256-9764).
FUNDRAISERS
The third annual Celebrity Poker Tournament to benefit Opportunity Village will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday at Caesars Palace, 3570 Las Vegas Blvd. South. Check-in will begin at 11:30 a.m. The No-Limit Texas Hold ’em Tournament is open to the public to play or to watch. There also will be a VIP reception. (880-4038).
The first Lions HealthFirst Foundation "Gift of Life" Golf Tournament will be Saturday at Badlands Golf Club, 9119 Alta Drive. Proceeds will go to the foundation to help underwrite free and low-cost ultrasound screenings for Las Vegas seniors at risk for life-threatening illnesses (739-6393).
