Gathering the goods for annual holiday bazaar listing
The holiday bazaar season is almost upon us, offering a win-win situation for all involved.
Shoppers have a chance to find a one-of-a-kind gift or decoration.
Nonprofit groups can use their imagination to create goods while raising money for a special project.
Recipients of the money raised get a special boost in their lives.
To bring all these people together, the Review-Journal runs a list each year of nonprofit groups offering holiday bazaars. We’re accepting nominations for the listing through Sept. 15.
Nonprofit clubs and organizations must include the name of the event, date, time and street address. We also require a description of items that will be for sale. The name of the nonprofit group sponsoring the bazaar should be included, along with its plans for the money raised.
People submitting the information should include a name and daytime phone number in case we need further details. (This personal information will not be printed.)
