Cactus, succulents to be featured at show, art fair
The Cactus & Succulent Society of Southern Nevada is presenting a cactus show and art fair Oct. 20 and 21.
Area residents are invited to submit entries to the show; rules are posted at www.moon-sunlandscapes.com.
Winning entries will be awarded ribbons.
Additionally, visitors will be invited to vote for their favorites in the People’s Choice award category.
The show will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Moon-Sun Cactus and Koi Gardens, 6430 McGill Ave.
Throughout the show, master gardeners from the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension’s program will staff an ask a master gardener information table, answering general gardening questions and providing free gardening fact sheets.
There also will be vendors with cactus and outdoor-themed wares.
The event is free and open to the public.
