‘Mommy Madness’ filming in Las Vegas

Spotlighting Angela Hoover, a Las Vegas-based comedian, part-time bookkeeper and mother of two kids (both under 4), “Mommy Madness” features brief “webisodes” detailing mom traumas from “Theme Room Envy” to “My Kids Won’t Eat!” (You can catch them all at www.mylifetime.com.)

Most of the dozen “webisodes” in the show’s second go-round filmed earlier this month, according to Quanda Wiggins, marketing director for production company Bungalow 3.

This week, however, Hoover and a few pals will hit Desert Breeze Park for “Stroller Fitness Moms,” which also features a boot-camp instructor putting the stroller-pushing mamas through their paces.

Hoover also will shoot wraparound segments for Lifetime’s cable channel, spotlighting the Web-based series — and a Mother’s Day movie marathon she’s hosting.

“Mommy Madness” is Lifetime’s “first original webisode series,” Wiggins explains. “We’re hoping after this second round we can develop it into a sitcom. It’s kind of a stepping stone.”

“Talent” tickets: It’s still 13 days away, but NBC’s showbiz showcase “America’s Got Talent” already is recruiting audiences for a live May 11 taping at Planet Hollywood, featuring wannabe performers strutting their stuff for host Jerry Springer and judges David Hasselhoff, Sharon Osbourne and Piers Morgan.

Tasteful TV: Josette Leblond of Josette’s Bistro makes her first foray into the TV chef fray at 4 p.m. Tuesday when a pilot for “La Cuisine with Chef Josette” shoots at her 4983 W. Flamingo Road eatery.

In addition to segments at the restaurant, the half-hour pilot will feature on-location sequences, including a visit to Leblond’s Los Angeles paté factory, plus musical accompaniment, according to producer-director Tony Sacca.

There’s also room for 24 audience members (who get to feast on whatever Leblond whips up for the show), so if you’re interested in attending the taping, call the restaurant at 227-4575.

Springing forward: The annual 48 Hour Film Project is movin’ on up — from its usual August slot to a May 30 start.

“I wanted to try it when it wasn’t so hot,” coordinator Angela Abshier says of the date change.

She’s also hoping to increase the number of teams vying to make the best short film in the two-day time period. (Last year, 38 teams competed; this year, Abshier hopes 60 will sign on.)
