HIKES
Red Rock Canyon: On Mounday, a moderate, 5-mile hike at Mount Charleston. On Thursday, a 3-mile night hike at Fletcher Canyon. Bring a flashlight. On Friday, a moderate, 4-mile hike through Telephone Pole Canyon. On Saturday, an easy, ½-mile hike at Corn Creek Walk (515-5367).

Red Rock Canyon: Tuesday, week three of Camp Red Rock, where 3-10 year olds can learn about reptiles. On Thursday, an ongoing discussion on the desert tortoise at the visitor center from 10 a.m. to noon. On Friday, a canyon clean-up. On Saturday, an art class for those 4 and over. No experience necessary and all supplies are included (515-5367).
