Santa arrived in style Friday at Opportunity Village in Las Vegas, bringing his entourage via helicopter for a VIP welcoming party.

Santa, Mrs. Claus and one of his elves were greeted by about 300 people as they touched down, kicking off the Christmas events at the West Oakey Boulevard campus. The Magical Forest opened later in the afternoon and will remain open through Christmas.
