Water Cooler

Here are a few things in news and pop culture that we’ve been talking about lately.

■ The Las Vegas Mob Museum unveils the barber chair u25B6 crime boss Albert Anastasia was sitting in when he was shot to death in 1957. In retrospect, a bit of shagginess over the ears wasn’t his biggest concern that day.

■ The legendary Sahara hotel will close in May. A few more of these and Las Vegas might as well be Reno.

■ Famed ’60s LSD chef Owsley Stanley dies after a car crash in Australia. The Communion wafers at the service should be amazing.

■ Charlie Sheen is fired from TV’s “Two and a Half Men.” Why do they keep saying that like it’s a bad thing?

■ Animal rights advocates picket Mike Tyson’s Henderson home over the ex-boxer’s reality show about pigeon racing. Hey, if all he’s doing is racing the pigeons, all is well.
