Here are a few things in news, entertainment and pop culture that caught our eye last week.
■ The Onion names North Korea’s Kim Jong Un its "sexiest man alive" for 2012; China’s Communist Party newspaper misses the joke. Proving that a free press and the ability to detect satire are inextricably linked.
