Free school supplies were handed out Thursday during the “Back-to-School Fair” hosted by Mariana’s Supermarkets at Clark High School in Las Vegas.

Students and families waited outside for more than an hour to receive a backpack, free lunch and school supplies. Tom Axtell, general manager of VegasPBS, said over 5,000 attended the fair.
