Clark County schools receive unsubstantiated threat of shooting

Clark County School District received unsubstantiated threats of a possible school shooting, the district announced on social media.

School police Capt. Ken Young emphasized the threats were not credible.

The school district said it appeared similar threats were made across five different states, and the school district was working with local law enforcement to investigate the threats.

“It is already a difficult time for our community,” the district posted on social media. “Thank you for your patience and support.”
