UNLV’s William S. Boyd School of Law to continue Voter Education Program

UNLV’s William S. Boyd School of Law will continue its Voter Education Program 2016 with a series of weekly forums on statewide ballot initiatives beginning Wednesday.

Each forum will feature a “fact sheet” presentation prepared by the nonprofit Kenny Guinn Center for Policy Priorities to answer questions.

The events will run as follows:

• Sept. 14, 1 to 3 p.m., Gun forum at the William S. Boyd School of Law in Las Vegas.

• Sept. 21, 1 to 3 p.m., Marijuana legalization forum at the William S. Boyd School of Law in Las Vegas.

• Sept. 28, 1 to 3 p.m., Energy market amendment forum at the William S. Boyd School of Law in Las Vegas.

• Oct. 12, 6 to 8 p.m., Ballot initiative forum at the Joe Crowley Student Union Theatre at the University of Nevada, Reno. Parking is free.

The William S. Boyd School of Law is at 998 E. Harmon Ave. in Las Vegas. The Joe Crowley Student Union Theatre is at 1664 N. Virginia St., Reno.
