1 injured in truck fire on U.S. Highway 93
One person was injured and a truck caught fire after a Thursday crash between a box truck and a van on U.S. Highway 93, near the Apex exit.
About 7:30 p.m., Nevada Highway Patrol responded to a call from the interstate at mile marker 66, NHP spokesman Loy Hixson said.
The male driver of the truck was injured in the crash, though Hixson didn’t have details on the extent of the man’s injuries. The truck caught fire, causing traffic delays.
Traffic lanes were clear as of 9:30 p.m.
