The Clark County Fire Department responded to a south valley apartment fire Wednesday that damaged 32 units and injured one person.
The fire department responded just before 4 p.m. to the Americana Apartments at 335 E. Harmon Ave., on Harmon Avenue near Paradise Road.
The fire began in a first-floor unit and extended all the way to the attic above the second floor, Clark County Deputy Fire Chief Jon Klassen said. Crews cut holes in the roof and attacked from the ground to stop the blaze.
One person was taken to the hospital with injuries.
The cause of the fire and damage estimate were still under investigation Wednesday night.
