2 injured in Mt. Charleston ATV accident
Two people sustained head and spinal injuries and had to be airlifted from Wheeler Pass Sunday morning following an ATV accident.
Las Vegas police received a call about 9:30 a.m. that a man and woman, part of a group of six people, had been injured in a crash, said Metro’s Lt. John Liberty.
Metro’s search and rescue airlifted the riders from the remote trail about 1 p.m. They would most likely be taken to University Medical Center, Liberty said.
