6 displaced by fire at Henderson apartment complex
Six people were displaced after a Henderson apartment complex fire Tuesday.
The fire at the Galleria Palms Apartments, near Sunset Road and Whitney Ranch Drive, started about 9:45 a.m., according to a Henderson Fire Department release.
First responders were able to contain the small fire to a bathroom area on the second floor where the fire began, the release said.
No one was injured and the fire was determined to be accidental. The damage is estimated at $5,000. The displaced residents were assisted by the American Red Cross.
