Animal Foundation offers dog discounts
The Animal Foundation wants you to commemorate “Mutt Week” by adopting a dog and is offering a one-week discount beginning Thursday.
The 50 percent discount, available from Thursday to July 31, applies to pits and mixed dogs, the foundation’s website says. There are currently over 260 dogs available.
Dog adoption fees are normally between $100 to $250 and include spay and neuter surgery, vaccines and a microchip, the foundation says.
Potential adopters are instructed to search pets online, visit the adoption center with their family. In addition, they must provide proof of ID, current address and a lease-agreement copy if it applies, the foundation says.
The Animal Foundation is located at 655 N. Mojave Road. Its adoption center is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
