Bicyclist injured in central Las Vegas hit-and-run
A bicyclist was hospitalized Monday night after being a hit by a truck near 15th Street and Mesquite Avenue, Las Vegas police said.
Police said a 34-year-old man was riding a BMX bike when he ran a stop sign and was hit by a red Ford truck just before 6 p.m. The truck driver fled the scene.
The injured man was taken to University Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening.
