An accident involving a bicycle and a black Ford 4-door sedan on W. Lake Mead Boulevard blocks eastbound lanes between Tenaya and Summerhill Plaza in Las Vegas on Saturday, April 2, 2016. (Martin S. Fuentes/Las Vegas Review-Journal)
A bicyclist was injured in a crash with a vehicle on West Lake Mead Boulevard in the northwest valley Saturday morning, Las Vegas police said.
The crash happened about 10 a.m. between a bicyclist and a vehicle, Lt. Kendall Bell said.
The bicyclist was taken to University Medical Center and sustained nonlife-threatening injuries, Bell said.
The crash closed all lanes of West Lake Mead Boulevard from North Buffalo Drive to North Tenaya Way. The lanes reopened around 12:30 p.m.
