A toy train under the Christmas tree is one thing. This is entirely different.

The Las Vegas Garden Railway Society has a large layout set up at Jim Marsh Kia at 8555 W. Centennial Parkway in the northwest valley.

A group of enthusiasts got together to put the rails in place on Sunday, and the display will be open to the public Dec. 24 through Dec. 30, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., but closed Dec. 25 and 27.
