Clark County fire officials hold forums for public
Clark County fire officials are seeking the public’s opinion about their department through a series of forums over the next several days.
The meetings are part of the Fire Department’s long-term strategic plan, and opinions will be used to evaluate policies and procedures.
The forums will be on Monday at 6 p.m. at the Desert Breeze Community Center, 8275 Spring Mountain Road, at Cimarron Road; and on Aug. 23 at 5 p.m. at the Enterprise Library, 25 E. Shelbourne Ave., near Blue Diamond Road and Las Vegas Boulevard South.
Fire Department representatives will attend the meetings and have focus groups. The strategic plan is the first for the department since 2005 and is expected to be completed by January.
