Coroner names man killed in Thursday shooting
A man who was killed in an east valley shooting Thursday afternoon has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.
He is 44-year-old William Brown, of Las Vegas, the coroner’s office said.
Police were called about 4:15 p.m. Thursday an apartment complex at 4801 E. Sahara Ave., Metro Lt. Harry Demetres said the night of the shooting.
Investigation indicated the man was outside an apartment building when shots were heard. He ran into the apartment and collapsed, police said.
He was taken to University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, Metro said.
Brown died of multiple gunshot wounds. His death was ruled a homicide, the coroner’s office said.
