Dody
Happy Home Animal Rescue
My name is Dody. I’m a loving 2-year-old white, brown and black short-haired guy who lost my home when my owner moved out of the country and couldn’t take me with him. I’m a real purr machine once I get to know you. I’ve been allowed to gain too much weight and need someone who’ll watch my diet for me.

Mia
Animal network
Poor Mia was found wandering a neighborhood, looking for food. Her rescuer searched for an owner, but no one came forward. This girl is sweet and loves everyone she meets, including kids, dogs and cats. She’s very treat-motivated and knows several commands. Mia is approximately 12 to 18 months, fully vetted and house-trained.

Henderson resident Sheri Lewis said, “I love reading the articles and seeing the pictures in the Your Best Friends section. It has inspired me to share this picture of my sweet Leena with her BFF, Mitzi, a demanding 7-year-old dachshund. Leena is a 1½-year-old, charcoal grey terrier/poodle mix and was adopted February 2013 from the Nevada SPCA.”
Debbie Randolph of North Las Vegas shared this photo. “Tex, short for Texas, is an 8-year-old rescued cocker spaniel who is a total delight and fun to be around. He loves to get dressed up at Halloween, Christmas, Easter and any other occasion. He loves to play with his toys and go on walks. He has brought a lot of joy to my family and myself.”
Scraps
The Animal Foundation
My name is Scraps (I.D. No. A764505), and I’m ready to be part of your family. I’m a sweet, gentle-natured 1-year-old neutered male terrier, and I’m ready to sit in your lap and enjoy scratches behind my ears.

Blue
Nevada SPCA
I love being held and adored in kind arms. Kitty tubes and cardboard boxes give me hours of delight. My name is Blue, and I am a young, sandy brown tabby, a spayed girl, 1 year of age. I enjoy other cats and hope you will consider adding me to your family.
The Nevada SPCA is a no-kill animal sanctuary at 4800 W. Dewey Drive, Las Vegas. For more information, visit nevadaspca.org or call 702-873-7722.
