Driver killed, 2 injured in single-vehicle rollover
A man was killed and two passengers were seriously injured in a one-vehicle rollover on Interstate 15 Sunday night, the Nevada Highway Patrol said.
Troopers said the driver killed was a 35-year old man. A 36-year-old woman was critically injured and a 17-year-old boy was seriously injured. The three Las Vegans were not wearing seat belts, according to the highway patrol.
Troopers and medical crews were called about 7:30 p.m. to the accident scene, which was between the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Apex Industrial Park, NHP said. The three people were in a red Ford F-150, which was traveling north and pulling a travel trailer. The driver lost control and the truck rolled over into the median.
The truck’s occupants were taken to University Medical Center where the man died a few hours later, NHP said.
