Driver killed in rollover crash on westbound 215 ramp

One person died in a single-vehicle rollover crash Tuesday morning on southbound Interstate 15 at the northern 215 Beltway, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
Troopers were called to the westbound Beltway ramp shortly after 9 a.m., NHP spokeswoman trooper Chelsea Stuenkel said.
Witnesses told troopers that speeding and reckless driving may have contributed to the crash and that the driver was seen passing vehicles on the shoulder, Stuenkel said.
NHP identified the driver and sole occupant of the four-door gold sedan only as male. The Beltway ramp was closed until about 1:20 p.m.
The Clark County coroner’s office will identify the driver.
