Expect more lane closures on I-15 this week
Several southbound lanes of Interstate 15 will be closed from Cheyenne Avenue to Lake Mead Boulevard from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. through Thursday morning for construction of the North Fifth Street bridge over the freeway.
Work in both the northbound and southbound lanes in the same area of the interstate will be conducted from 9 p.m. Thursday to 5:30 a.m. Friday, causing rolling lane closures.
The $30 million bridge improvement is part of the city’s North Fifth Street Arterial Project, which is expected to be completed in 2013.
