Fatal crash closes Alta-Buffalo intersection
Las Vegas police said they shut down the intersection of Alta and South Buffalo drives Tuesday morning after a fatal two-car crash.
A vehicle was traveling north and crossed over to oncoming traffic, colliding with a southbound vehicle, police spokesman Jay Rivera said.
One person who was in the southbound vehicle was confirmed dead as of 10:12 a.m., Rivera said.
Police responded just before 9 a.m. Three people were taken to University Medical Center, police said.
