Fight over scooter could have led to fatal shooting, Metro says

Las Vegas police are trying to determine whether a man was shot to death during a fight over a scooter.
The man was found shot to death in front of a central valley apartment complex in the 2800 block of East Charleston Boulevard, near the intersection at Mojave Road, Metro said. Someone in a unit there called police at 7:50 a.m. saying they may have heard two gunshots.
When officers arrived, Metro said, the body with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Police found a scooter next to him, police spokesman Lt. Dan McGrath said. Initial investigation shows there may have been an argument over the scooter, and the shooting followed.
Police did not have any information on the shooter.
