Fire damages motor home in central Las Vegas

A motor home caught fire in the central valley early Thursday morning, the Clark County Fire Department said.

Firefighters responded around 8:20 a.m. to the report of a fire at 3191 Westwind Road, near Lindell and West Desert Inn roads, Deputy Fire Chief Jeff Buchanan said in a statement.

Upon arrival, firefighters found the motor home, which was fully involved in fire, parked close to the house at that address, Buchanan said. Crews extinguished the fire in 10 minutes and there was no damage to the home.

No injuries were reported and the cost of damage hasn’t been estimated. The fire’s cause is under investigation.
