Flooding at The Linq closes stores temporarily

People going for a stroll Saturday night were met with flooding at the The Linq, an open air Strip venue with restaurants, shops and entertainment which opened in February.
“At approximately 11:15 p.m. last night, a water main broke under the center of The Linq’s streetscape, resulting in early closure of some nearby tenants. Repairs and clean-up began shortly afterward… Many of The Linq’s tenants will be open today,” said Caesars Entertainment, which owns The Linq, in a statement.
The ankle-high water was discolored but did not smell nor appear to be sewage water.
On Sunday afternoon, The Linq Twitter account released a list of tenants that had reopened. The water has since been cleared.
The flooding did not affect nearby operations at The Quad or The Flamingo resorts, according to the statement.
