Hiker found dead at Lone Mountain identified
The hiker who collapsed and died while hiking at Lone Mountain Park Wednesday afternoon has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office as Slawek Nadowski, of Las Vegas.
Nadowski, 64, may have had a medical episode, a Metro lieutenant said. His official cause of death has not been determined, coroner’s office staff said Thursday.
Police were called to the park near Lone Mountain Road and the 215 Beltway about 3 p.m. It was unclear if Nadowski was alive when officers were first alerted.
Search and rescue responders found him dead.
