Ice cream social: Jillette brings celebrity flavor to the Strip

In an event that was part fund-raiser and part plain fun, Penn Jillette took his magic to the Las Vegas Strip on Monday to hand out ice cream.
The “Celebrity Apprentice” finalist, who is up against country music star Trace Adkins for the crown this season, had vanilla, salt chocolate swirl and fudge caramel candy pieces on his side as the heat baked Las Vegas. Jillette raised money for Opportunity Village, and fulfilled one of the things he had to do in the contest against Adkins — create an ice cream flavor that will be sold at Walgreens pharmacies.
Among the stars who showed up Monday on the Strip outside Planet Hollywood were Jillette’s partner, Teller, and comedian George Wallace..
