Ronald P. Lurie is a former mayor and city councilman of Las Vegas, Nevada. Lurie graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1958. He served as a city councilman for 14 years and was subsequently elected as mayor, an office he held from 1987 to 1991. After he retired from politics, Lurie became executive vice president and general manager of Arizona Charlie’s hotel-casino. Pictured here with James Wallace.
