Las Vegas man critical after single-car accident early Monday
A Las Vegas man is in critical condition after a single-vehicle accident about 1 a.m. Monday on Dean Martin Drive, south of Tropicana Avenue.
According to Las Vegas police, 24-year-old Richard Craig Dickerson Jr. was northbound on Dean Martin when his 2008 Mercury Milan went up on the sidewalk and struck a light pole and chain link fence.
Dickerson, who sustained critical injuries, was transported to University Medical Center. Police say he was not wearing a seat belt.
The accident is being investigated by police.
