One man is dead and another is in “very critical condition” after a shooting early Thursday morning at an apartment complex near Decatur Boulevard and Vegas Drive, Las Vegas police said.

The shooting happened about 5:30 a.m. in the 4600 block of Vegas Drive.

One man died on the scene while the other one was hospitalized at University Medical Center in a “very critical condition,” Metro homicide detective Lt. Ray Steiber said.

Homicide detectives are on the scene. A woman and two men in the area were seen in handcuffs.
