Nevada Highway Patrol, Henderson police and Clark County School District police teamed up to keep crosswalks safe by having an officer cross Tropicana Avenue at Morris Street and pulling over motorists that did not stop. The officer, dressed as a leprechaun, crossed the street by himself, but would escort pedestrians across Tropicana Avenue when the chance arose.
