Man dies after fatal car crash near North Las Vegas airport
A 60-year-old man who may have suffered a medical episode died after a car crash Thursday afternoon near the North Las Vegas Airport.
The crash happened about 2:15 p.m. at a bus stop near the northwest corner of Decatur Boulevard and Smoke Ranch Road, Metro spokesman Larry Hadfield said. No one was at the bus stop at the time of the crash.
Only one car — a 2000 Dodge Intrepid — was involved in the crash, and that car’s driver was taken to Mountain View Hospital, where he later died.
The coroner’s office will name him once his family has been notified.
