A shooting in the central valley left one man dead Thursday evening, Las Vegas police say.
The call came in just after 7:30 p.m. from the 1700 block of J Street, near Martin Luther King Boulevard and Owens Avenue.
A man was taken from the Sherman Gardens apartment complex to University Medical Center with multiple gunshot wounds, Metro Lt. Barb Schmidt said, and he was pronounced dead there.
