Man dies in weekend crash at Lake Mead
A 29-year-old man died in a rollover crash on a dirt road at the Lake Mead National Recreation Area over the weekend, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on Six Mile Cove Road, west of Lake Mohave near Searchlight, NHP said.
Ever Douglas Mejivar-Valle, from Las Vegas, was a passenger in a Nissan pickup about 7:10 p.m. Saturday, when the driver lost control, causing the truck to rollover.
Mejivar-Valle was thrown from the truck and died at the scene, NHP said. He wasn’t wearing a seat belt.
No other injuries were announced.
