Man found shot to death in Henderson Saturday identified

The man who was found dead in a home on the southern edge of Henderson Saturday morning has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.

Charles Schroeder, 66, was found by Henderson police about 11 a.m. in the 2800 block of Hartwick Pines Drive, in the Anthem neighborhood. He died of a gunshot wound to the torso, the coroner said. It was ruled a homicide.

Police said they were called out to the home when Schroeder did not answer phone calls from his family.
