Man killed after ATV accident ID’d
The man who died after crashing his all-terrain vehicle Sunday evening near Sam Boyd Stadium was identified Monday by the Clark County coroner.
Thomas Bruce Gerling, 48, of Henderson, was riding his all-terrain vehicle about 5:40 p.m., when it flipped over off-road at 7000 E. Russell Road, and he became unconscious, Metropolitan Police Department spokesman Kendall Bell said.
Gerling was taken to University Medical Center in critical condition and later died, Bell said.
