Man killed in Henderson motorcycle crash ID’d

The man who died from a motorcycle crash Wednesday afternoon in Henderson has been identified by the Clark County coroner.

Joseph Brezic, 36, of Henderson, lost control of his motorcycle and was struck by a passing car in Henderson.

Brezic was heading east on East Galleria Drive about 4:30 p.m. when he lost control of his 2012 Yamaha near Pabco Road, Henderson spokeswoman Michelle French said. As a result, he became separated from his motorcycle, slid across the road into the intersection of Galleria and Pabco and was hit by a passing car.

He was wearing a helmet but died after being taken to St. Rose Dominican Hospital — Rose de Lima campus.

The car that struck the Brezic was driven by a 74-year-old Henderson man who submitted to blood testing but did not appear impaired, French said.

Brezic may have been speeding and driving recklessly before the crash, French said, who added it was unclear whether he was impaired, she added.
