Man shot dead days before body found Saturday

A man was found shot dead in a vacant house Saturday near the intersection of Flamingo Road and Arville Street, Las Vegas police said.

He was killed two or three days ago and the slaying might be drug related, police said Sunday in a news release.

Detectives were called to the house about 1:45 p.m. in the 4400 block of Via San Rafael, police said. The man was shot once.

Through an investigation, police determined the empty house was used by “many different people” and that an argument broke out two to three days prior before a gunshot rang out, police said. There were several people present.

Police have not identified the shooter.

The slain man will be identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.
